Emergency Response Plans
We help you develop an emergency response plan that fits your building, the people you serve, and the staff or volunteers available to respond. We start by looking at how your facility operates on a typical day and what changes after hours or during a special event. A procedure that depends on someone in the front office needs a backup for the evenings and weekends when that office is closed.
Together, we work through situations such as a fire, a medical emergency, or severe weather and decide who is responsible for each part of the response. In a medical emergency, for example, who calls 911, who retrieves the AED, and who meets the ambulance at the right entrance? During an evacuation, who assists people who need help, and how will staff account for everyone once outside? Your team comes away with written procedures they can practice, review with new personnel, and update as the building or staffing changes.
